“I express myself through the simplicity of color and pure form. The ceramic medium gives me the opportunity to combine free creativity with practical design. My main inspiration is the tactile satisfaction I get when touching ceramic materials – the earthy qualities of clay, the fragility of porcelain. Both elements challenge me to combine them and create new forms. I understand the importance of material and form, but the idea and concept of my work are equally important. Ceramics is an ancient art form, but today it opens up great opportunities to speak in the language of contemporary art.
